Rock Point is a coeducational boarding school serving 40 students in grades 9 through 12. We offer small classrooms and individualized attention. Our teacher-student ratio is approximately 1 to 10 in English, history, science, and art classes, and 1 to 4 in math. Rock Point has helped young people grow into their best selves for over 70 years.

Rock Point’s outdoor program includes hiking, camping, mountain biking, rock climbing, canoeing, ultimate Frisbee, volleyball, weight training, bicycling, running, walking, cross-country skiing, and snowboarding. Our weekend program has featured trips to Montreal, New York, and Boston, hiking in the Green Mountains, and on-campus maple sugaring.

Rock Point provides real-life learning through internships and community service programs. When appropriate, juniors and seniors can choose internships at companies, offices, studios, farms, radio stations, and other places in the community. We offer a senior seminar to help students with college placement and applications.

Rock Point’s 150 acre campus, on the shores of Lake Champlain, includes open fields, wooded trails, beaches, and a private cove. And it’s only two miles from downtown Burlington.
