Wilbraham and Monson Academy

Wilbraham and Monson Academy is located in the town of Wilbraham, south central of Massachusetts and occupies 300 acres of rich farmland and wooded hillsides. Wilbraham and Monson Academy is the result of the merger between two old academies in 1971. These two academies were Monson Academy which was founded in 1804 and Wilbraham Academy which was founded in 1817.

The Global School, Wilbraham and Monson Academy is a center for global and entrepreneurial studies where students are introduced to the world of global citizenship, finance and entrepreneurship through numerous teaching methods. The bicentennial scholarship program of Wilbraham and Monson Academy brings together students of outstanding potential to live and learn together with other similar students who enter the school through the multiple $20,000 scholarships awarded here.

With the residential life program, students develop a sense of comfort and security with frequent and meaningful interactions with adults. They learn the values of personal responsibility and integrity, conflict resolution, cooperation and positive leadership.

Wilbraham and Monson Academy uses a directed study program instead of study hall system where students seek help from teachers and tutors whenever required. The Fine Arts Program offered here has a wide range of studio and computer based courses that are beneficial to both entry level students and advanced artists.

Wilbraham and Monson Academy is accredited to New England Association of Schools and Colleges. It also has memberships in the Cum Laude Society, the Independent School Association of Massachusetts, the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, the Secondary School Admission Test Board and the National Association for College Admission Counseling.

You have to take your children of age groups 5-12 to Wilbraham and Monson Academy for their summer camp because of the many camp activities and enticing options they provide for your children. The summer camp gives your child a positive summer camp experience that builds their self esteem and develops lifelong individual and group skills.
