16. Teen Depression
An emotional state of a teenager that goes beyond simple sadness or melancholic mood. A teen with depression is often irritable or moody. He or she has unexplained pains or aches. A depressed teen kid does not want to be with others, especially with adults. He or she is also very sensitive to criticism.
17. Teen Drug Abuse
Drug abuse in teenagers has increase significantly at present. It is harmful to the youth as well as the entire society. If teen kids have immature psychological and physical development, they are more expose to the effects of drug abuse. It often results to adverse behavior like antisocial attitude, self-degradation, control loss and disruptive conduct.
18. Teen Stress
It is how the body reacts to any form of changes. It could be triggered by emotions, people and situations. Examples of stressors in teenagers are going to a new school, divorce or separation of parents, illness, death of a love one, etc.
19. Teen Suicide
It is an attempt of a teenager to call for help by attempting to kill one's self. Depression is said to be the main cause of suicide.
20. Teen Violence
Teen violence can take many forms. It could be violence in a relationship, in school or even at home. It consists of physical contact or abuse, such as slapping, beating, stabbing and shooting another person or group. Depression, frustration and peer pressure are among the causes of teen violence.
