Children not listening to parents- How to solve
Children not listening to parents can turn out to be quite a problematic situation for the parents. However, rather than beating and forcing your kids to do what you want them to do, it would be wiser if you find out the reason for them not listening to you, and then try to fix it. In their growing age, children are just getting to grips with the rules of life, and understanding how things work. Parents need to make sure that they clarify at a very early age about who the authoritative figures in the house are and why they need to listen to you. Kids should also be able to place their trust in you blindly, and they should know that no matter what you ask them to do, it will be for their own good.
Also, rather than ‘ordering’ your children in a harsh manner, try to be polite and ask them kindly. Make sure you listen to your own self when you are talking to your children, because that will help you in choosing your words correctly too. Also, when you ask them for something, make sure that your expectations are communicated properly. For instance, if you want your child to get you a tool, you should tell them where the tool box is, and exactly what type of tool you want them to get.
When talking to your children, make sure you understand their emotions. For example, if a child is not feeling so good, you should try and help them in feeling good about themselves, and keep work related tasks away. Constantly badgering children can also cause negativity, so try your best to form an understanding with your child in order to prevent the ‘children not listening to parents’ scenario.
